Simmons’ legal team filed court papers in Los Angeles asking a judge to declare that accuser Victoria Jackson has suffered no harm from the star of costume rock and reality television.

Simmons’ lawyers said Jackson has threatened to sue over the “alleged assault that never occurred” unless he pays her $185,000.

The dispute stems from a November 2009 appearance Simmons and fellow band member Eric Singer made on the ESPN television show “SportsCenter.”

Jackson has stated in a letter to Simmons, 60, that he hugged and “grinded” her in a hallway at ESPN studios in Los Angeles, when he was there for “SportsCenter.”

But Simmons’ lawyers say Jackson’s grinding allegations are “implausible if not impossible” because he was in his KISS costume with a codpiece that sits over the groin.

KISS began its career in the 1970s and scored hits with “Detroit Rock City” and “Rock and Roll All Nite.” Simmons has since become a reality TV star on “Gene Simmons: Family Jewels”.

An ESPN spokesman said the company was not involved in the lawsuit.

The blonde co-star of the tv show Desperate Housewives sues the show’s director and creator, Marc Cherry, because he hit her in the face on the set. That’s what she said!
Sheridan’s character Edie Britt was killed off the show last year and she is suing for $20 million, alleging assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination.
Nicolette claims that Cherry directed his abuse at other cast and crew members, even at star Teri Hatcher.

Eva Longoria (who plays Gabrielle Solis) appears to be really surprised about this thing and she hopes that the suit will not ruin the show’s image: “I haven’t talked to her since she left the show… we used to be really friendly when she was here, but she was kind of on vacation for awhile, so I haven’t seen her around in LA”.
Eva also said that it’s hard for her to imagine Marc being violent: “He’s funny and sweet… and probably could not harm a fly. He’s just so sweet. I do know they had a thing on set, I guess it was a couple of years ago”.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of the show. I’ve seen every episode. For me, it’s an interesting character. Robin is just a really wonderful spirit. It just so happens she’s a lesbian. She’s a really wonderful spirit. She’s got a good soul and a good heart and that’s what they said to me about the character. And she’s not going to come in and wreck someone’s marriage on the show. It’s been done before”, says Benz during the interview with AfterEllen.com.

We have to say that, thanks to Marc Cherry, Julie/Robin is not trying to look like a stereotypical lesbian that we have seen on Tv: “She’s so many other things, too. She’s sensitive, forgiving, very kind and has a great sense of humor. And so far, from what I know about the character, she has no hidden agenda. She’s just a really good person”.

The storyline was aired the last Sunday on ABC: Robin is one of the new characters of this season, she’s a stripper that was convinced to quit her job after she met Susan (Terri Hatcher).
At some point Katherine will invite Robin to move in with her, not knowing that Robin is a lesbian until she tried to kiss her. But don’t worry, this story will start as a kind of joke…but it won’t stop here!

“I think it’s going to take her by surprise, the feelings she’s having. I think that she’s still so emotionally vulnerable from getting out of the loony bin, and I think she and Robin connect on a kind of wounded, emotional level. And I think if anything, she’s feeling this kind of emotional solace with her, and that draws her to Robin in a physical way, and that’s confusing to her” says Dana Delany to The Advocate.
 And we they asked her about Julie Benz, here is her answer: “Oh, my God … and not only is she gorgeous, she’s a really good actress. I think people get so lost in her looks that they don’t realize how good she is”.

They were previously releasing each episode about a week after it originally aired on their website CWTV.com.


This policy has generated hundreds of thousands of streams for them. Only problem is it seems to be messing with their television viewing audience. In order to get numbers back up they loaded the online Gossip Girl episodes with advertisements. Evidently, that didn’t work for them either.

The twelve episodes that are up now won’t be pulled and you’ll still be able to purchase downloads at iTunes. Otherwise, you’ll have to mark your calendar or set your DVR to catch the latest shows.
